Can I leave the venue at lunch to go to a shop nearby?
No. You must bring your lunch with you. Participants cannot leave the camp between the hours of 10.30 and 15.00. Children can on only leave the venue with written consent from parent guardian.
How can I ensure I get the correct size jersey?
All of our sizes are the same as standard Umbro sizes available in many shops.
How does the Trapattoni competition work?
Participants who book before May 15th will be entered into a competition whereby they have the chance to win a place on a training session with Trapattoni. The training session will take place in Dublin. Accommodation will be provided for participant and a parent/guardian and transport costs will be covered. It is expected to take place on a weekend in September (to be confirmed). A total of 30 places are available to Summer Soccer School participants.
How long is lunch break?
Lunch will last for 30 minutes. Remember to bring your lunch and drinks.
I can't book onto the camp I want because it is full. Can I enroll on the day?
No, participation is by advanced booking only, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
I wish to cancel my booking. Will I receive a full refund?
No, all cancellations carry a 20% cancellation fee. This is detailed in the Terms and Conditions of the SS schools which you agreed to upon booking.
What age do you have to be to participate in the Summer Soccer Schools?
You must be at least 7 and not older than 15 during the dates of your chosen National Irish Bank FAI Summer Soccer School. Unfortunately we cannot accept 6 year olds onto the camps. However we really look forward to welcoming them to the programme in 2010.
What is the timetable of the camps?
All camps run Monday to Friday from 10.30 to 15.00.The only exceptions to these are some Goalkeeper Camps which may run in the evening or weekends.

Why do you wish to know my ethnic background?
As we are all aware Ireland is becoming very diverse in terms of its population. The FAI would like to gain an insight as to who is currently participating in soccer so they can make provisions to include those who currently are not
Why does the Family discount not apply this year?
The family discount has been replaced with a "Freddy Fyffes" Promotion. With this new scheme, you will have the opportunity to save €9.90 on each child you register for a Mainstream Camp, where as in previous year's, there was no discount on the first child booked onto a Mainstream registration.
Why was the water bottle removed from the Kit?
The bottle was removed as feedback from coordinators and participants showed that children were not using it and the majority of them were left behind at the end of the schools.
Will any of the International players be visiting the Summer Soccer Schools?
No. It is unlikely that the International players will be available to visit the Summer Soccer Schools because in July they are all involved in pre season training with their clubs and in August their season begins. However it is possible some League of Ireland stars and underage international stars will visit the camps.
Will I come early on the first day?
No. We'll see you there at 10.30 on the first day and every day!
I wish to cancel my booking; will I receive a refund?
Unfortunately, as the camp has already started we will be unable to provide you with a refund. This is detailed in the Terms and Conditions of the Summer Soccer Schools which you agreed to upon booking.
