Goalkeeper Camps

2010 will see the An Post FAI Summer Soccer Schools programme hosting 28 Goalkeeper Camps across the country. Goalkeeper Camps are open to girls and boys regardless of experience, size or technical ability. Never played in goal before? Why not give it a try, you could be the next Shay Given or Emma Byrne!

While technique is important for any goalkeeper, there is no substitute for playing and training in game type situations. We pride ourselves on the fact that our FAI accredited goalkeeper coaches know and understand the needs and requirements of the game and the goalkeeper.

The Goalkeeper Camps will focus on this key position on the field of play and will improve the confidence and skills of the participants through training drills and exercises designed solely for goalkeeping.

Our policy of 8:1 players to coach ratio on all our Goalkeeper Camps will ensure that everyone will get the attention they require to master their net-minding skills.
